already got a subwoofer from there when the SVS PB1000 was on sale - I ended up paying only $675 for a glossy white PB1000.

    • Hope your enjoying your SVS sub.

      • Yeah totes enjoying it - watching Alien: Covenant as we speak.

      • +1

        I also scored a white pb1000. Wish I bought 2.

    • Damn. I missed out on this one. Any chance of a sale again :)

They must have been clearing old stock out, since the SB1000 Pro is the current model. I just felt like bragging about it. :)

  • Any chance you can do a decent deal on klipsch centre speakers ?

  • Any chance of a deal with a 2.1 receiver?

    • Always happy to help. Reach out to [email protected]

      • I'll shoot through a message now

        • No worries will reply in the morning :)

  • Anyone know what these are like? Got 2 little wharfdale speakers running tv/movies/games, spotify and record player.
Was about to look at subbies in the next cpuple of weeks to compliment them so good timing on a deal.

    • thats what I plan to do. I got 2 wharfdales as well which im gonna run with this

      • Which wharfedales you guys running? I'm really wanting to get the Linton Heritage.

        • Linton Loudspeakers are amazing value

        • Nothing that fancy myself, Diamond 12.1. Havent heard the lintons (and dont want to because then theres a big chance ill wanna get them), but they look great.

I have one T9x, I want to add another, please bring a deal on REL =)

    • REL is a tough one but I will work on it ;)

  • Ugh really want a sub with trs inputs to connect my audio interface too. Why do we still use rca these days

    • +5

Because AV Receivers don't produce balanced audio signals. So a sub with a balanced audio interface would be useless to 99.9% of it's market 😁

      • …well…..that's my cue to leave.

      • It's a good type of connector, don't know why modern subs wouldn't have passive and active inputs, especially if pair with active monitors.

Guess most people run passive thou from the amp.

        • Modern subs are usually active - the sub has its own internal amplifier.
This particular unit is 200w RMS - no AV Receiver can produce that kind of output ! So even if it were a passive sub, you'd need a seperate amplifier to drive it…

          • @Nom: Yes I have a broken magnet 10"
Don't need one but was asking for a mate.

My HS80m are brilliant and plenty of bass, not far from the wall ;)

  • I have Klipsch full height main speakers, surround, center refence, subwoofer. All hooked up to an Yamaha Aventage Amp. Fantastic

    FREQUENCY RESPONSE 32Hz - 120Hz +/- 3dB

Would love to see a deal on the PB2000

  • Honest question: how are these compared to the wharfedale sw150 subs?

  • Mate is after a mini sub, anything like that available?
    Something like a REL micro

    • +2

REL seems to be getting some traction in here so I will work on some ideas with them internally. Keep your eyes peeled in the future.

  • Any sales for PB 1000 Pro?

    • +1

Very tough on the PB1000 Pro as its the most popular. We currently have this at 10% off online however any less than that would only happen when the model goes end of life (not for a long time)

  • Seems like a solid subwoofer at this price.
Wish I was more confident on what I needed for my setup to improve the quality.

  • Great deal, been looking at this for a while but didn't wanna fork out more then 500.
Moved into a new house with 2 top speakers and 1 centre speaker so really needed a decent sub.
Now have to convince my wife that we'll need a pair of front speakers to complete our 5.1 setup…
    Any affordable recommendations appreciated.
