      I currently have this Microwave, it works really well. I paid $450 and would highly recommend it at this price.

      The forced air setting works really well as does the grill. I've had to contact Whirlpool customer service for another product and they were very responsive.

      Only real downside I've found is that the grill at the top can get pretty hard to clean so you should try and clean it often.

    Has anyone had experience using one of these in a cabinet or on a built in microwave shelf? Do they need extra venting room on the sides/above/behind to vent the extra hour air from the grill?

      From the manual:

      Position the oven at a distance from other heating sources. For sufficient
      ventilation there must be a space of at least 30 cm above the oven.
      INSTALLATION
      Prior to connecting
      The microwave oven shall not be placed in a cabinet. This oven is not intended
      to be placed or used on a working surface lower than 850 mm above the floor.

    Thanks bought one geez they get great reviews. I*ve had three of the whirlpool crisp and grill so far but this one is a whole new ball game
