      When I got the pb2000 I told her it's not much bigger than the old sub, I was of course wrong and she now stacks stuff on it as it's taller than the coffee table…but it will rumble for the movies so nicely.

        I already have a decent sized home built sub with an O-Audio monoblock and a 10" Dayton HF driver in a 90L ported box.

        She already says it's ugly and too big. Can't imagine what she would say about the PB3000 lol

          Nah, don't get the SVS then, just upgrade to a larger home made. Get the marty box or vbss going with a dayton 18" driver and maybe upgrade your power amp. Cheaper, and higher SPL, just the effort.

    I love my high end audio, got systems literally in every room and every car I've had….

    But 800wrms subs, in a house, every neighbour hates you unless you live in a bomb shelter.

      16-260hz +- 3db and 132.7db @32hz is what matters

    having said that i have a 10'' sub and it's overkill. If you want to feel like you're getting hit by a cannon then i guess this is the only way to get it oh and share the experience with your whole apartment block. I mean what are neighbours for?

    TBH i'd get this in a heartbeat if i had the room size/isolation

        The PB-2000 Pro is what I've been eyeing off for a while too. Hoping for a good deal on it one day and then not to miss it when it does happen. This PB-3000 is tempting though too.

      Different subs to compare here. The rel t9x is closed, this svs pb3000 is ported. A similar svs is the SB range for their closed subs.

      REL costs more, arguably better looking? But I think SVS are better bang for buck IMO. Each to their own though

        SVS is reputable brand, PB3000 compares with REL Predator 1508 and don't think there is any comparison there either, sealed vs ported

        I just fell in love with REL, I don't watch movies, just music 🎶

        I went in to buy SVS pb-2000 but came back with REL HT 1205.

          Agreed! Sealed is the way to go for music, very very few songs dip under 35hz to warrant ported.

          I haven't listened to a sealed svs, but I did like the rel t3 I listened to a while ago.
