  Homeworld has been my favourite series since it came out.

  Kinda tempted but then I could print the models if someone makes them. Tho that means painting etc.

    There are some of the ship models on thingiverse if you're interested. Never tried to print them though and I assume that the models are literally just taken from the game, so they'll lack a lot of the physical detail and greebling that in game is done via textures.

  I still remember playing the original Homeworld in '99 and the first mission's soundtrack being 'Adagio for strings' and keept hearing '100,000 lives lost' over and over having no experience in 3D RTS.

    Yip, one of the most iconic scenes in a PC game ever. I've played hundreds of games in my life, but none of them come close to that moment when you return from testing the jump drive.

  Love HW franchise, had some amazing moments, both 1 and 2.

  It does look amazing, but hard sell at that price, especially for an unreleased game. If HW3 is a lemon stuck with an embarrassing $345 monument to why you shouldn't get pre-orders. Would love a Bandai model of some of the HW ships though.

  Incidentally, I find it amusing that they decided that the new mothership model should be suddenly very horizontal rather than very vertical.
