This is better. Superflower has a better brand reputation than FSP, but that's not to say the EVGA PSU is bad.

  Thanks for the info, hadn't realised EVGA had changed OEM suppliers.
  From a quick search, this PSU doesn't hold up to the same standards of the G3 1000w that was a Superflower.

  Yes. If you think you will be needing your PSU to power a next gen GPU with the 12+4 pins you should be trying to wait for the new versions.
