Catch of the Day are doing their flash sale deal competitions again.

In the running this time is the long awaited Diablo III.

If Diablo III is one of the deals that is one of the top 6 most "liked" then COTD will make the deal available for an hour interval on the 22nd of May for $20

    Even though its about $40 cheaper…you can't put a price on not playing the game for almost a week after its been out!

    Can't believe people still believe in COTD's flash sale. It's just a lame trick to lure people into visiting their website and end up buying something else.

    I fell for this trick once last time for the $99 iPod Touch. Unsubscribed their newsletter and disliked them on facebook after that.

    Deal went up 1:00 PM. At 1:01 PM when my cart loaded it says:

    Sorry
    Diablo III - for PC
    is sold out!
    Please remove it from the shopping cart to continue with checkout.

    Sold out a minute after it went up. Probably even sooner than that. My local Big W only got 5 copies when it went on sale. It wouldn't surprise me if that's how many CotD had.

    Yep knew this was going to happen. It always does. Something good comes around and the site gets so hammered that its almost impossible to get anything. I wonder how those who managed to get a copy got through without the site jamming. Must have had like 3-5 copies.
