    That's an incorrect evaluation, the WD black beats the 980 pro in nearly every test. (thorough testing)
    
    It lost in power usage
    Once it does a sustained write for a period of time it drops below the 980. (regarding cache)
    
    and something else I think.

I wouldn't say this deal is anything special considering it's been around that price on amazon UK for a bit of time now.

I saw it at 360 about two weeks ago.

Also, the WD 850x is being released soon.

Not to say that this isn't a good drive and a reasonable asking price, just that you shouldn't buy it hastily.
