Free 1-Year Headspace Subscription for Cyber Security Professionals (First 400, LinkedIn Profile Required) @ Tines

210

Hey everyone,

Just started with Tines (no code security automation) and came across this promo they're providing for those in the Security industry- free Headspace subscription for a year. Mental health is no longer a taboo topic and has become a high priority subject over the past 2 years- I personally, have felt the stress & mental strain more so than ever in my life due to these lockdowns. It seems those in the cybersecurity space feel it too, even more so given the dramatic shift to everything remote & online during this same period.

Check out the report here if you're interested in seeing how others are feeling in this industry too (burnout, overworked, significant stress): https://www.tines.com/reports/state-of-mental-health-in-cybe…

This promo is limited only to those in the cybersecurity industry and I've been told your details will strictly not be passed onto anyone in sales either so don't worry about any of the team reaching out to you.

I genuinely hope this helps. I personally fall asleep often when meditating but I always keep trying as I feel the benefits when it works (otherwise I get a relatively good nap!).

Should you ever need someone to speak with just to vent/have a chat, please feel free to message. I also put together something of my own based on a tonne of reading on happiness, purpose & strategies for it here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/happiness-purpose-life-andrew…

All the best and take care.

Cheers,

Andrew

  • Needs linkedin profile and they verify.

    • Indeed, I believe it's just the team sponsoring this verifying you're in cybersecurity as there's only 400 seats available. Hopefully in the future they can sponsor more and not need limits. Apologies if this is uncomfortable in any way.

not that you can't put fake information on your linkedin account to pretend you work on cybersecurity. I mean, who would lie on their linekdin page, right?

  • Sounds like a security threat

I still have my free subscription from when it was free for Los Angeles residents during covid lockdowns. Of course I live in Beverly Hills 90210…

    • Haha legitimately same postcode I used when I was in the US and any place that needed my US postcode, I'd just put that in. Seems we grew up watching the same show!

      • Haha, your username matches your comment! lol.

  • Upvoted for your article on LinkedIn

    • Ah Thankyou! I appreciate it.

Headspace was recently said to be the most privacy invasive app of all the mental wellbeing applications, so surely this goes directly against the core elements of a security professional right?

    • Wowser! I hadn’t known that! Thankyou for bringing that to my attention. Not the best but not the worst either. Crazy I’ve used quite a few of these apps too.

  • With 1 year of free Murdoch, I think I'm going to need this.
