Slightly cheaper than last V10 Animal deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/699727

Except that was a V10 Absolute Plus deal. This shows the $799 price to be the second most expensive deal.

Why not absolute plus with a cheaper price?

the link above is much better deal, just get free month ebay plus or pay for 1 months. It come with quite a few extra attachment and it is cheaper.

      • Exactly what I did.

  • I heard about dyson a lot , are they good ? are they worth 3 times the price of regular stick vaccum? or perform 3 times better?

    • It won’t perform 3 times the better. Similarly when you buy a car, say BMW X5 doesn’t perform 5 times a than X1. But the price is 3 times.

      • It does if u know how to use it

          Do you have an example?

Their Dyson V15 probably the best stick vaccum, but cost much more. Their older range is pretty good as well but usually cost more than competitors. If you don't want to pay too much for a stick vaccum, there are some other brand like Dreame V and G series, which got pretty good reviews too. Just make sure whatever brand or model you choose, it come with the attachments and features you want. (eg brush head for carpet, soft roller head for hard floor, flexible extention, power on locked mode, how easy to empty the bin/clean the filter, AW (suction power), battery duration/removable, weight ect.

    • I have this model (upgraded from Bosch stick vacuum) and it's bv far one of the best products I have ever bought.

    • When we first moved in our place, we bought approx $80-$100 vaccum cleaners and they would last about a year (loss of suction or broken parts etc.). After 3 times, I bit the bullet and bought Dyson Ball from Aldi for $350. It has been going strong for 7 years and not lost suction. So depending on your use case and the price you get it for, it might be worth it.

    Dyson V10 Animal Cordless Vaccum

How much for the Human model? My dog won't let me use his.

Edit: I got a vote down. I bet it was my dog. Look Fido, I get it, you don't like to share.

    • Tell him that humans are animals too. Damn speciests.

      • Animals are the best people

$735.08 at ebay dyson delivered. No ebay plus required

  • Which one would you recommend for a 4 bedroom townhouse with hardwood floorboards through out?

    • If your home only has hard floors, get the one with solf-roller head. Probably lowest suction mode will pickup everything (minus large objects). If you fixed on Dyson, decide by your budget. From best/most expensive/newest, v15>v11>v10>v8>v7 (each series has different models too). You may need to consider something like flexible hose ect as well.
Just keep in mind, if you have a very large house, most cordless vacuum probably won’t last around 60-90mins/30mins/10mins in low/medium/high mode. If you can’t wait for recharge, you can buy the one come with removable battery, but usually the extra battery isn’t cheap.

    • Rugs to keep warm in winter.

    • The V10 with the soft felt head (Hard Floor tool I think) is an excellent choice. Pretty sure it's only in the Absolute bundle and NOT in the Animal bundle as listed above.

It is so much more effective in collecting dust, especially around cupboards and walls in comparison the the carpet motorhead

      • Thanks for all your inputs… Guess I will go for the V10 Absolute+ in that case unless someone can suggest a better option at roughly $800

  • ugh, I literally just got this 2 weeks ago from the GG at $899 :(
