    Dyson V10 Absolute Plus

I'll wait for the Dyson V10 Absolute Plus Max Limited Edition Premium Plus

    • Nah…..get the Plus 1

      • Dam. It’s so hard to keep up with Dyson.

        • You try, you lose. ;)
Good thing is their products actually last a long time.

      • I bought a 1Plus Nord, though it doesn't suck. :)

I'll wait for the Dyson V10 Absolute Plus Max Limited Edition Premium Plus Ultra

    • +1

      v11?

      • +2

Only half as good as the V22.

  • +1

Dyson website has this for 849.00

  • +3

    Engineered to deep clean, anywhere.

Probably wouldn't try it on the beach, though.

    • +2

Still need to go home and clean your sh*t

  • Do people find they still need to mop after using this on hardfloors

    • +17

      yep, this isn't a mop

  • Is v10 good?

I got the v8 Absolute (i think that's the name!) in early 2018 from GG. It is going alright…i think the suction has gone down and I may need to replace it.

Have been using it everyday, in fact some days a couple of times!

    • +1

Nothing beats the V8 engine boy…

    • +2

Have you tried replacing the filter?

      • No, never. I have never cleaned the filter.
        Just the attachments only.

I can see ebay has some fake ones for $20. Is it worth buying that or just get the original filter from Dyson?

        • +3

Just.. clean the filter? Why do you seem so allergic to cleaning a cleaning appliance?

    • +3

Just clean the filter or get a new filter, will be good as new

      • Ok. I just did a quick ebay search and found there are two filter - one at the back of the head unit and the other on the top. Two pack cost $20. Is it worth buying the fake ones or just get one from Dyson website?

Regardless I think I’ll try replacing it to see if it improves!
        Thanks

  • +2

Thanks, ordered one. But I used the code SNSHOME for $50 off

  • +1

I cant get the code to work :(

edit - nvm my region wasnt set to aus. worked. thanks OP

if you are not a plus member, join monthly pay $4.99 and cancel it right away (still keep your 30 days + for other deals) and get $7% off.
Also if you use shopback and want to save more, then get ebay GC from Shopback apps for another 3% = extra $22-$23 off

  • Any deals on the V11? I have only ever seen deals on the V10

  • +1

    I'm still on a v6.

    • +3

Still using a finger/chopstick to pull the crap out from around the filter? I got sick of that fast… empty mechanism on the 7 up is a worthwhile upgrade.

      • Thanks for the insight I didn't know this. Not sure it's worth $800 for easy empty bin but will keep this in mind

  • I think better deals will come along before the end of financial year

    • I also was thinking the same, but ended up buying as the risk of saving $20 bucks or missing out … vs receiving a V10 absolute plus and being happy …

I figured my happiness is worth $20 … Let's check back in 6 weeks time 😅😅😅

      V11 won't be on sale anytime soon…

  • Anyone who purchased can confirm if plus stacked with SNSHOME code?

Don't see a point in signing up to plus for less than $50 off at $5 cost.

    • +1

      Coupons usually aren't stackable

    • +1

Confirmed plus code doesn't stack with SNSHOME

    • So, 5$ better with eBayPlus code than SNSHome?

      • Used eBay gift card & SNSHome voucher to grab one ! Thanks OP

  • Is there a benefit in upgrading from a V7 to V10

    • yes, faster, stronger, longer!

      • Yea but worth paying $790… :)

        • It depends if you need the extra juice. If you live in a small house or apartment. V7 is great enough. However in a 3 BR house as such, the 60 mins suction on V10 is desired. Having said that, a $10 broom and dust pan could do the job too.

      • Harder, better, faster, stronger

  • +1

thanks OP bought one. Tried to stack my woolies team discount to buy ebay GCs , but they do not give that 5% discount anymore on GC :( .

  • My question is why don't you buy V15 directly? You've already decided to spend twice the price of v7, why not 3 times the price of v7 to get the latest model?

    • Logic checks out. Got the V15. Works very well and replaced the previous wired Dyson we had.

  • Any attractive features are worth $300 extra? Compared to v8 which is also on sale. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/699510

  • +1

Just bought this through this link, it has another code for 7% off PLUHNG7. Bringing the total to $789.57.

10/10 great timing as my Dyson V8 just died about 30 minutes ago.

    • +1

Congrats! Btw, there is another code for eBay plus users which makes the price even lower. Search Dyson v10 on ozb and you will find there is a 10% off code.

  • Which one would you recommend for a 4 bedroom townhouse with hardwood floorboards through out?

  • Reminder, buy ebay gift cards from Shopback for additional 3% cashback. Bringing total price down to $765.57
