My wife bought this for me last night.
My thoughts as a craft beer lover and a very occasional whiskey drinker (a bottle or two a year) are that it's very nice and comparable to others in it's price range.
I am by no means a connoisseur, but I tried it neat with an ice cube and could taste vanilla and pear with a touch of apple.
I was actually pleasantly surprised that it doesn't taste anything like hops, as I thought it sounded gimmicky and along the lines of the various flavoured bourbons you try once but get over quickly.
