Diploma in Sustainable Living at UTAS

HI Ozbargainers,
I know there are a lot of us here doing the Diploma in Sustainable Living at UTAS, would anyone been keen on creating a little group to support each other through the units and course?

I am just about completing my third unit. So if anyone is interested, please drop me a private message.

    I know there are a lot of us here doing the Diploma in Sustainable Living at UTAS

    There's lots of OzB's doing this course? Am I missing something here? haha

    I hope everyone's already looked into the 'usefulness' (or is it 'uselessness'?) of the course? It almost sounds like a gender-studies type course!

      The course is free… free education So…. ozbargainers love saving money.

      The last deal posted proved extremely popular. I've done 4 units myself, and although have to agree there's not much in it but others might find it useful.

        I actually work in an Industry which makes some stuff really relevant.

        And I have other interest like building my own home one day and etc.

      Well the course is online, so it is not like we can walk into the classroom and say hello.

        Weird, my wife is doing online uni, and they have a place for all the students to communicate with each other.

          Mine doesn't, besides with teachers too and as a full discussion that nobody participates in anyway.

        Every single university/TAFE/online course I can think of has online chatrooms, student classroom contact info, and forums or similar to enable this kind of contact.

        If you can't find it on the UTAS login portal then perhaps you might, I dunno, ask the teacher or helpdesk for this info? The people running the course you're enrolled in??
