Pick up the PS3 playtv for only $45 in-store at "Radio Rentals" stores in SA.

The items is not on their website and cannot be shipped as far as i am aware.

Considering the advertised price for these gizmos is around the $90 mark, with the next best price i could find being $75…. $45 seems a steal.

Note: this offer was mentioned in the comments section of a previous related thread (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/62546) back in January, but i cannot see a separete thread for this SA Radio Rentals deal.

I confirmed last night that these are still instock at this price. Comes with playtv unit, disc (install disc i'm guessing) and UBS cable.

    Makes for a good pvr with the ps3, worth it. You'll need a large hard drive though.

      Confirmed. I use two of these for a total of four tuners in a setup with yavdr, a VDR variant of ubuntu 11.04. Works flawlessly.
