How is this abomination on ozbargain! 3080's go for 1200 and this is only 5%-15% faster. 1000 dollars for 15% increase, yea nah.

    Get 3090 for such price

  • Bargain if sub 1300

Does this have enough grunt to play Bubble Bobble? My Commodore 64 struggles a bit at the moment with this game.

    • Those were the days.

    3090 is the same price

    Nope.

I think everyone on here is ignoring the fact that this card comes with a pre-installed water block.
I havent looked at prices for cards in a while, but a waterblock will probably set u back somewhere between $300 - $600. Certainly a bargain compared to what i paid at release a year ago for a Strix + waterblock :P

Anyway, you are probably all correct anyway… If you wanna build an overpriced custom looped PC, you should prob wait till the end of the year and get the new intel/ryzen CPU and a next gen vid card.

    • End of the year? I guess its just a few months wait for the 4090 and Ryzen.

  • this would fit perfectly in my custom loop PC, if it was sub $1800 then I would bite,

The deepest, darkest place in hell is reserved for the 9 people who thought this was a bargain!

Just enjoy the all fact they're motivated enough to make accounts on bargain webpages in an attempt to skew information. It's completely futile on their behalf they can't stop the price falls lol

I'm looking forward to seeing the first $1000 10GB 3080 and some hodler complaining it's too expensive. Grab the popcorn and watch all the pathetic melts that follow. Miners be like "u want a 3080 for $500" and neg the comment 10 times.

That's the dominant culture on this page unfortunately. A lot of them paid 2k for 10GB 3080 and have more than 1.

  • I added one to the cart just to feel like I owned one.

Then the ozbargainer kicked in and I realised it is terrible value.

Then I realised I don't game and the ozbargainer kicked in and I seriously considered buying one, like all the eneloops that don't get used and the 4 year supply of dishwashing tablets I currently own.

Awful deal. As you can see for yourself members here are actually reporting negative votes. Look at the first comment. Speaks volumes and highlights how manipulated the upvotes are on this site. Deceiving average people who trust this website into believing bad deals are good deals. But moderators do nothing.

Most if not all the upvotes on this gpu page are from people who want high prices. Not good deals.

Voting is a joke on Ozbargain. Free up vote but you have to go through hell to keep your downvote.

  • +2

True ozbargainers will be able to sniff out the good deals if they surf this site often enough. If there are people who think this is a good deal, they deserve to be scalped.

  • I've still got my watercooled 1080ti still runs everything i need will keep HODL until they start selling cards at a reasonable price people should just boycott there top range cards
