  • What is the usual price?

    • -1

      More than $29

    • +1

Pretty sure this is a discontinued model but would've went for atleast $150 a few years back

  • +3

RRP seems ridiculous but should be pretty good for $29. I think this is the third cheap pair of headphones I've gotten from these sorts of eBay deals. Haven't had to use any of them yet. My current ones are still going ok.

Haven't had to use any of them

That's pretty much everything I buy on OzBargain. These deals are fuelling my materialism

Wasting money = happy chemicals for me

        • +3

Wasting money = depression for me

          Wasting money = happy chemicals

Then the money has not been wasted.

  • Retails for $50, less on sale. So for $29 seems ok. Reviews seem decent. No RGB though.

    Don't need em. Bought them.
    Another day on OzB….😐
    Thx OP.

I purchased the PC 360 many years ago (2011?), they are very comfortable but there are some things to consider:
    - They are an open back design so won't block any outside sound out.
    - The volume control will eventually fail, the 'fix' is to do some soldering to essentially remove or bypass the volume control.

I think the price is great.

    • +3

Looking forward to making use of Jaycar soldering kit, cheers

    • I just had a read about it. Looks like if you don't touch the volume control it shouldn't be a problem? I would never use the volume control on the headset but in any case I do have a mate who could fix them for me. Thanks for the heads up.

  • +1

Thanks OP, not sure I needed but bought anyway

If ever there was a phrase that encapsulated the spirit of OzBargain…

    • Thanks OP, not sure I needed but bought anyway

Like I bought the sodastream, didn't buy this I have too many earphone.

  • Seems like alot of issues with the volume thing failing

  • Just wondering can it do surround sound?

    • Seem like only stereo

    • +1

Windows and games can emulate surround sound, 99% of the hardware does basically the same thing and serves no purpose, particularly the crappy dongles headsets come with. Consoles can also emulate surround too, all you need in each case is regular headphones.

Wouldn't recommend leaving it on in Windows though, just flip it on for movies/shows and flip it back off again.

  • +1

For 29, how bad could it be. If you need/want one, maybe just get one.

  • was looking for a cheap open-back headphone, thanks OP :D

  • Cool, looking for a cheap one to use at office with proper Mic. This is fantastic fit to me. Bought one. Hopefully , video conference call is clear

    • +3

be aware that it's open back headphone. Meaning people can hear clearly what you're listening

      • +1

Maybe stop watching that kinda stuff in the library?

        • only watching the fans

  • +3

I had a pair of these back in 2010…. Came with my Asus xense sound card. What a combo!!

From what I remember, fantastic mic and headphone. There was a mod to punch a hole in the driver mould that increased bass response.

These headphones were what got me into headphones….now rocking Sennheiser HD598, 660, Beyerdynamic TYGR 300R, HIFIMAN Sundara……

Purchased for wifey as WFH headset. Thanks OP!

  • $61.95 WITHOUT eBay Plus…. bwah… shame really. Would have pulled the trigger for $29. I would feel cheated if I paid $61 and others got it for $29.

    • Ebay Plus is like $5(one month) after the free trial if you've used that, if you really wanted it could get it for $35

  • Any feedback on the mic? Does it block out background noise?

  • I don't have one of these but considered buying it back in the day. Shape looks like it's modelled after the HD598/599 series and I love how comfortable they are. Mics should be good too.

Would buy these on impulse but successfully exercised self control or I'd have another pair of headphones collecting dust.

  • +1

Thanks. Truly don’t need these (I have the new PC38X), but bought anyway.

    • And I need this but OOS :(

    • +2

When you get a chance, would you mind letting us know how do they compare? Based on price, one would expect the PC38X to beat the sound out of the PC 360. However, I suspect the differences between them may not be as big as one think.

      • +2

I did a comparison in both sound and mic quality between PC360 and Game One. except for game one having detachable cable and aesthetics they were identical and also if you replace your PC360 under warranty Sennheiser will send you the Game ONE instead. PC37X is the same as these two but PC38X is a step up in terms of just sound quality but still, the mic is the same.

        • Awesome! Thanks for the thorough reply!

  • OOS

  • just got this delivered and tried on as a spare open-back headphone, the quality is superb for the price! :D

    • +2

It is basically Sennheiser HD558 + noise-canceling mic and is a steal at this price.

      • You made me regret why I didn't buy one myself :(

  • Be worn guys, these do require a burn in time.
I usually have it playing 20Hz-20KHz sweeps on loop overnight. Then usual listening over a period of a week will suffice.

These don't require anything heavy to drive them, as they are only 50ohm.
But never the less, a decent DAC/AMP will still do wonders.

    Decent DAC/AMPs:
Shiit HEL/II (has Mic input), Mayflower ARK Mk2 (has Mic input), Topping E30/L30 or Atom Amp/DAC.

  • Received mine today. FYI, No volume control on cord.
