  this or Mini 3 Pro RC + FMC? Not in a rush or anything but want the best option out of the two

  Bigger sensor on this, but bigger aperture (fixed) on the M3P.
  Saw a comparison that was saying that they were similar when you scale the sensor size v aperture (beyond my comprehension)

  I like the portability of the M3P and the new upward pointing gimbal provides greater creative options
  The heavier weight of the A2S would I assume be better for windier conditions.

  With the mini 2 there was a big enough price difference to justify not going the Air 2S, but now the difference is minor….

    I've had a close look at the video quality of the 2 and IMHO the air2 is better than the Mini3P (and I think nicer than the Mavic 3 pro). The Mini3 pro has more noise reduction applied to the whole image and less detail. It looks more like phone video. Air2 has more professional options for shooting video too. If you're not working professionally though, there's not much in it. The Mini3P also has just had new options added in a firmware update including 10-bit video - better - but the small-sensor feel of the footage remains. (Dont get me wrong - its still brilliant I just think the air 2 is brillianter)

      If they put a better sensor on the mini 3 pro, they'd eat into sales of the mavic air range. Probably would be overweight too for the category.
