      Dis good?

      • +1

        Disn't know

    • this screen 🤤🤤

    • +3

Reviewed this earlier in the year - loved the laptop

Screen is great to look at but might get some creak in the hinge
Of course with Ryzen 6000 filtering through that will be superior, especially for graphics but it's slow coming and no double more expensive.

      • Thanks, I'ma check that out!

        Nice review.

I considered it seriously but only due to unavailability of moon white, didn't go further.

Recently announced Yoga X series doesn't indicate any Carbon Edition, what's your take on that ?

        • +1

Interesting to see if it will come later or they're just rebranding.
I like that they seem to be dropping the Yoga name (at least in the US maybe) and just going with Slim, as they don't do the Yoga flippy thing anyway.

From a quick look, appears pretty similar, with the X series to include a GPU and IPS display, leaving the integrated GPU and OLED for the vanilla Slim 7.

With a Ryzen 6000 in these, I'm personally pretty happy with just integrated graphics on a laptop this thin, my desktop is for gaming.

Awesome youtube review, plus deal on top of Ozbargain page = Latex condoms :P

        • +1

Hah, whoops - didn't even notice XD

    • +1

I have one. It's perfect. The screen folds back 180 and the colours are amazing. So so light too.

      • +1

Is it touchscreen? What's the benifit of folding it back 180?

        • -1

Yeah seems redundant to fold 180 without touch.

    • +1

      1kg. So awesome.

    • Anyone have thoughts on the OLED panels? I am scared about the risk of burn in.

I am also interested on how glossy the panel is.

    • The 11th gen i7 version with 1TB ssd is currently available on eBay for $1499 >> https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/185404784072?chn=ps&_ul=AU&norov…

      • no oled fyi

        • not carbon as well.

    • Damn

    • Is the 16GB RAM single channel or 2x8?

      • It's dual channel soldered RAM.LPDDR4X can't be in SO-DIMM form

        • Assume this is for keeping the slimness of the device, but really does constrain the useful life of the device for more intensive used cases when that 32 or higher RAM requirement rolls around.

    • Does anyone know how do I purchase without an edu account?

      • +1

Have a look on some old Lenovo edu posts. Someone was offering to help you get access.

        • Still no luck. Can anyone help me?

  • 100% sRGB according to tech specs

EDIT: nvm that's for the 2.2K models. Can't see an sRGB rating for this model?

  • How video outputs does this have, and what are they. Need to connect to two monitors? I can't find the specs

    • 2 video outputs on the Flex. USB C to Display Port, and HDMI.

  • FYI it seems you can access Edu store via the parent portal using a non-edu email.
