So this Bunnings trade in is a terrible deal.
Could also just crack open your battery and replace the dead cells, presumably 18650s or similar.

All the pieces are now in a zip lock bag for my next attempt when I do have an idea.
I alway see the old battery drills at the op shops for $5. Buy one and trade in for $50 off :)
