You'd think so wouldn't you with the number of Heymix deals and posts ! :)

  • these things still dont have that austick approval ?

not complaining … those small heymix chargers are still working fine for me.

    • what does saa certified mean? looking to pick up one of each dont know if i should

      • maybe i should wait a bit till eofy sales hit harder?

      • Well.. I'm not even sure of any ramifications except maybe insurance… tbh… I wouldn't really care, the chargers seem to be decent. Just keep in mind the specs though.. you can only run 1 USB c at full power.

      • If they are indeed certified, they are hard to find here:
        https://www.saaapprovals.com.au/resources/certified-product-…

        Won't respond via email.

I have been waiting for this to go on sale again! I sometimes hook my laptop up to the tv to view content and the way my powerpoints are setup it is a mission to plug and unplug the laptop charger; having this dedicated powerboard with enough juice to power the laptop is fantastic

  • I bought this model when it was $59 and so far no big issues.
However, I found that it can only charge my laptop (Thinkpad) if I plug the PD cable directly to the PD socket.
And if I use a hub in between, it will not charge the laptop. Not sure if it is because the hub may redistribute/reserve any watts for the connected devices(e.g. a keyboard, a mouse and HDMI).
    I then end up buying a 100 w charger.
So if your use case is similar, you'd better off buying a cheaper Heymix powerboard.

    • is the hub supporting power pass through? if not it might not be able to charge when it's connected to the power supply even with sufficient juice.

      • Yes, the hub supports 100w pass through.

  • There's also a promotion. Buy 2 of these and get 8% off.
    I paid $96.58 for two.

  • this item in another list only $29.99 https://www.amazon.com.au/HEYMIX-Powerboard-Protector-Mounta…
I can find the SAA certificate results by searching 203369 (number from one of their picture), but not sure which model it is.

Different item my man. This has 24W total with 4xUSB-A ports and not 65W 2xUSB-C+2xUSB-C as per OP

      • You are right. I compared the 2 but didn't notice the difference :(

  • This is what I need, but sceptical on Heymix / Chinese brands.

Any reputable brands with USB C powerboards?
