Woolworths Online Increases Prices When Logged in

Hey there everyone,
I was just posting this to see if anyone else has noticed something similar.
Today I was browsing some items on the Woolworths site without being logged in and found something at a decent price. The price immediately increased once I logged in to purchase said item. I also noticed that the prices of many groceries also increased despite the location being the same between when I was logged in and when I was not.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

For years online price and in shop price been same for things i buy. Occasionally meat is charged at some assumed weight online. However they are give you extra for free or refund the difference.

So unless specify what you saw different i dont share your experience

I noticed Uber Eats grocery stores tend to sell meat like "800 grams of chicken breast for $9", but what they actually give you is just any package of chicken breast that is at least 800 grams, like "1.1kg chicken breast for $12.37" sticker on it.

    • Same here. All of our shopping prices have been the same online and in-store for the past few years atleast.

Post some of your examples here and we all could check them.

The only thing I can think of are products that are eligible for containers for change.

Possible that your preferred woolies (which it will know once you log on) charges a different price for the items you want?

It may be related to where their site thinks you are. Generally (when not logged in) it shows me prices from NSW (as it assumes I'm in Sydney). When you log in and it knows you're in a different part of the country, I assume the prices may be adjusted accordingly.

I notice it all the time on Amazon.com.au with delivery times - there is quite a difference before it realises you're in WA :-)
