    Is the receiver plugged into your case USB port or straight into the motherboard via the rear USB ports (if you are using a desktop PC) ?

      The dock is plugged straight into the motherboard. The receiver is plugged into the dock

        I would suggest trying to plug the receiver directly into the motherboard and see how that goes, I have had no issues (touch wood) using it with the receiver attached to the charging dock and the dock connected directly to the motherboard USB port as per your setup.

        The only time I had such an issue was when I had the receiver connected to the case header along with a USB 3.0 External HDD.

        Also, make sure your PSU is supplying enough power with all connected devices, and try a few different ports on the mobo as you have issues with it's USB port/s.

        Sorry, there is so many things that can cause this issue…

        If it continues to play up I'd advise contacting the seller for a replacement and see if you experience the same issue again, then you can more than likely rule out the mouse causing it.

          @agk2020: I actually got a replacement from Amazon but its having the same issue. So it has to be something to do with my computer and not the mouse.
          Very bizarre. I'll try changing ports and a few other troubleshooting ideas
