Sonos Beam Gen 2 Soundbar for PC Gaming?

So I used the deal on the sonos beam Gen 2 at the good guys I thought I was being pretty smart by getting this bc it comes with dolby atmos and great sounding speakers. But after I opened I realised that my AOC monitor doesn't have an ARC plug?. I know I can use the Digital audio jack to connect the sound bar to my PC but I feel like it's not with it to pay $600+ just for slightly better speakers. I went to the good guys but apparently, they don't do any change of mind returns if the product has been opened and used? Any ideas, please? I'm considering selling it, but is it possible to sell it for around $550?

Where are you sitting with respect to the speakers? If it's a desk setup soundbar is probably a bad idea regardless, they really are tuned for you being a few meters back

Galaxy brain move. Buying an overkill soundbar for PC after lurking on Ozbargain without even checking your I/O.

    • Dude at the time I thought I was being so smart bc I won't have to go through downloading and setting up all the apps and speakers since the Sonos app is pretty solid, XD shot myself in the foot there.

  • Where are you based? I am looking for a good condition second-hand beam 2 in Sydney

  • Don't worry guys I went again bc my dad told me to go to another store. when I explained my stupidity they gave me a refund. Thanks for the concern and I learned a valuable lesson: CHECK COMPATIBILITY BEFORE PAYING!.!
I hope this post serves as an example.

P.S: thank you for replying to my very first post, Hope full ill be posting more in the future
