  Have had one of these for about two years, meshed with two other asus routers (ax88 and ax86). The wifi from it drops out frequently while the other two don’t (even with Ethernet backhaul). As a speaker it’s good.

  I would spend a little bit more money and get a proper asus router if I were you. I spent a little bit more on it than this deal after a cash back promotion which was running.

  The idea of a router having a speaker in it for music would contradict placing it in the ideal spot for reception usually

    Surprisingly playing music doesn’t seem to intefere with the signal.

    For the price you could do a lot worse. If I was in a small apartment I would probably get this.
