  • Inflated RRP or have these just gone up in price? I've had mine since nearly 2020 and paid less. Still worth it for the price!

    • RRP definitely inflated. Was $499rrp when I bought it for 25% off at JBHiFi back in 2018, but yeah covid influence too?

  • +1

Next generation about to drop for AU

  • +1

I noticed SteelSeries has released the Nova Pro line which I'm guessing will replace the Arctis Pro line.

  • Showing as $379.05 for me.

  • These sound kinda terrible - worse than $50 MH751 or Cloud IIs for the few days I tried them. If you are looking for high end wireless headsets, the Audeze stuff (penrose etc) are miles ahead in terms of sound quality whilst having a 2.4ghz connection w/o the latency of traditional Bluetooth ldac/lhdc based audiophile cans.

    • +1 regretting my purchase compared to the cloud II's I've been using. Bought it mainly for bluetooth use but has a sidetone that you can't turn off when using bluetooth.

  • Was looking at getting a pair of these, however the list of people trying to return them because of poor quality materials really put me off.
Ended up risking for the Corsair Virtuoso, lucky they for my ears. So far they have been really great

    • I've been looking at the Pro for a long time but the virtuoso has got my attention. Looking at the XT for the Bluetooth… Has it been good with you so far? Anyone got these?

      • The Virtuoso XT is the ones I got.

Probably have the best setup for bluetooth, which is a big point why I went with them, having the full set of bluetooth controls as well as main volume is great.
They sound awesome, connect by almost everything possible and work flawlessly so far.

Biggest downfall is definitely the ear cup design, if you have big ears then it could be an instant deal breaker.

        • My situation:

I've been using Arctis 7 for 3 years but I need Bluetooth now. Was always going to get the Pro but reviews online have put me off.

Recently purchased audeze Penrose, sound is great but functionality is shocking. Connects and changes volume by itself all the time and battery life is shocking. I'm trying to return it and I'll go Corsair virtuoso XT, at least if I hear of good reviews.

          So I'm stuck here

        • Sorry also wanted to add, ear cup design doesn't bother me because you can buy aftermarket ones that look really comfortable, just YouTube it
