2018 Stable Tales Shiraz
Stable Tales vineyard is one acre of estate-grown vines planted on the 22-acre property. Gently sloping land, 2km from the township of Mclaren Vale, the north/south running, the vineyard is exposed to coastal breezes which assist in disease management.
Tasting notes
Stable Tales Shiraz is made at Longwood Wines using small open fermenters and aged in seasoned 300 litre casks for up to 20 months. On the palate, the wine is soft and full bodied with gentle tannins and long, satisfying plummy finish. Stable Tales Shiraz is vegan friendly; fish, milk, eggs gelatine, nut free.

Tasting note
The wine is opaque, ruby-red in hue, with concentrated fresh red fruit aromas. Crafted from very traditional wine making methods, it is then stored in our finest barrels for more than 18 months. This patience in barrel achieves a harmonious balance between the red fruits and the mocca from the oak. Perfect to enjoy now with lamb ribs or stewed beef. This wine has great potential for aging.
