  • Nice, I've been waiting for a good deal on a DeWalt Hammer Drill/Driver combo.
Does anyone know much about these to tell me if they'll be more than enough for most home use cases?? The prices vary wildly and beyond battery capacity and voltage I struggle to understand the differences between the sub $300 ones and the $600+ drill/driver combos.
Cheers Guys & Thanks OP :)

These will be no problem for around the house. Later on you might want to get a bigger battery but for DIY no issues.

The same kit at Bunnings except with 1.5ah batteries is $329 so this deal is solid.

      • The Bunnings one comes with a bag instead of the hard case as well. I previously got this? or a kit like this and it came in the bag. I'm using the bag but maybe the hard case would be better? I'm guessing the case is worth more.

      • Our local bunnings was clearing 5ah drill driver kits for $250 over an extended period till they further reduced to $200 at which price they sold out quickly.
Not saying the OP deal isnt good but it always pays to check bunnies yellow label deals in the tool shop.
2ah batteries are nice and light and well matched to average DIY tasks

    • They’re good kit.

If you’re spending hours driving Villaboard into a hardwood frame (yeah yeah, I know), you’ll want to have a battery charging on the go, but 2ah will cover most random tasks.

You will want a 4 or 5 if you want to drive bigger kit, though.

  • do you have the full list of sales?

      Starts today.

      Note, these are in-warhouse savings

Please me advised the ad is wrong. It is not a hammer drill, it is the cheaper DCD777 drill, so its not a hammer drill AKA this drill is NOT worth it, in my opinion
