Got one on Amazon last month for $13.96 as a birthday gift for a sister. She thinks its the bees knees.

The term the bee's knees means excellent. The bee's knees is thought to refer to the concentration of pollen around a bee's knee. A Competing Theory The term it's the business is commonly used in England, particularly around London. The term the business means exactly what it's supposed to be (i.e. excellent).

@oldhippy Thanks for the interesting titbit about the bees knees.
The term titbit is a noun referring to a choice morsel or a pleasing bit of something.
In American and Canadian English, tidbit is the preferred spelling of the noun, neither spelling is right or wrong.

        Ok, thanks.

If everything is OK, it means that everything is fine or going well. The oldest written references to OK are from the slogan used by the Democratic party during the 1840 American Presidential election. Their candidate, President Martin Van Buren, had the nickname Old Kinderhook, and his supporters formed the OK Club. (It is now spelt okay.)

So many of them at discount stores that work just as well..unless anyone with Philips shaver can validate?

Bigger surface area and the battery/bin are both secure.

Guess it depends how much you need one.
