Great price. I snagged the JB deal only because I had vouchers to use, otherwise I would’ve bought it from Apollo.

I’ve tested out the Sony WH-1000XM4/XM5, Sennheiser Momentum 3, Yamaha E700A, and Bose QC35/45. Technics EAH-A800 felt just right comfort wise (I have large ears) for earcup depth and clamping force. Sound quality was great, as was clarity and detail. The bass wasn’t boomy, which is something that I really dislike about the XM4/XM5 which EQing doesn’t entirely fix.

  Agreed. Bought for all the same reasons. Waited till I could try the XM5 on before purchasing.
  
  However, I still find my QC25’s and PXC550ii’s slightly more comfortable for my big ears. But these are a very close third.

    I would've bought the Sennheiser Momentum 3 if the battery was much better since it sounds just as good and the codec support is much better, including the elusive AptX Low Latency codec which is great for gaming on the side.
