    Kodak Battery Review 1.5 / 5 (Amazon)

Reviewer Quote - "They are zinc chloride which I looked up as being the most primitive form of battery, plagued with low output and short shelf life."

    • Definitely not a deal. I didn't realise the difference between alkaline and the one you just mentioned. I once bought 100 non alkaline batteries from COTD and they didn't even last 6 months in a clock. I used them in my shaver and they only lasted 2 shaves while the alkaline last for 10 shaves.

Btw "Heavy Duty" doesn't mean crap. It's label rather than a description.

        I believe it does.

  • carbon zinc

  • Never buy heavy duty batteries. They are utter junk.

Bunnings had a 30 pack of arlec alkaline for around $8 with a battery tester included.

This isn't a deal. (well it is technically, just a really bad one)

Better still, buy some rechargable LSD batteries for under $1.50 each and not worry about buying any again for ages.
