Citi's Australian retail bank will be under NAB from 1st of June

    • i applied for a citi card this week and the enquiry already came from NAB

      also page footer

National Australia Bank Limited (ABN 12 004 044 937, AFSL and Australian Credit Licence 230686) ("NAB"), is the credit provider and issuer of Citi branded financial and credit products. NAB has acquired the business relating to these products from Citigroup Pty Ltd (ABN 88 004 325 080, AFSL and Australian Credit Licence 238098) ("Citi") and has appointed Citi to provide transitional services.

This means that NAB is your product provider and references to 'we', 'us', or 'our' in relation to Citi branded products and services are generally references to NAB unless the context requires otherwise.

I am hoping NAB will get these Citibank credit cards onto Google Pay platform.

  • Got denied with a salary of 125k. Asked for 6k credit limit. Ouch. Should have waited longer since closing down my other account.

    • I was in same boat last month. Citibank has never declined any of my applications in the past even with recently closed accounts. I guess they have tighten their approval process now with NAB.

      • i applied for cards from nab and citibank one day after the other and was approved for both

  • Citibank never works with me, I aint got any idea why
