[QLD] Lytworx 5m Smart Strip Light $15 (Was $54.90) @ Bunnings (Toowoomba North)

480

Don't really know what I'll do with them… but they were cheap!

Still listed on Bunnings website for $54.90 but scans at previous sale price of $30 and further reduced manually at checkout.

Was about 50 near the front of Toowoomba North. Not sure if on clearance at other stores sorry.

Nice! Magic Home app allows you to sync room lighting to your TV. Uses your phone's camera to view the TV display and you set up via the app where your led bulbs are. It can them adjust the colours accordingly to blend with the TV image

That seems impractical though if the phone needs to stay pointed at the TV.

  • Can these work with any type of motion sensor?

    • That would depend in the motion sensor

    • Yes. Magic Home has home Assistant integration

    • That is a good idea do you have any links or names for plug in motion sensors that would work with this kind of plug in.

Sort of a plug in motion sensor that turns on whatever is plugged into it in this case this strip light.

Might work better than my current solution of using under cabinet led lights that need recharging every week or so.

Looking to automate all the lighting in my house.

So I have auto light on as I walk in as well as manual turn on and off lighting solution currently already installed.

This is a great idea thanks.

  • Do they have any other functions but changing the colour?

  • Do these have a physical button

My Bunnings had them for $7 a month ago, but no others did. I can never quite work out their clearance racks….

Other nearby Bunnings had the Lytworx Smart Festoon lights for $10 too

Shame on you for not sharing

      • It doesn't seem worth it for a rack of 4 items

Don't really know what I'll do with them…

Try “Hey light strips, what should I do with you, and with you?” But be sure to plug them in before asking the question, as they’re a bit dim without electricity. Make sure you address them with some eye contact, so they know who’s boss

  • Would this work with the ‘brilliant’ app? I already have a few of their lights around.

  • Looking at stock levels either they've since sold a lot or the stock api is inaccurate (not uncommon). So let's believe the pic :)

  • Do they have these in NSW?

  • +1

These are great behind a bed. They light up the wall like a feature wall.

  • Going into my Christmas present stash

  • So cheap! I just bought a Phillips Hue one for $110, and that was only 2m.

    • I think the reason why the Phillips Hue was so expensive is because they are individually addressable. These ones on clearence appears not to be.

  • Thanks OP, will visit my local bunnings in NSW and see if they have any.

  • +1

I wish these things came in like 10m, 20m sizes

  • About 15 left now

  • All sold out by 3pm according to staff. I missed out - please PM me if you ended up with more than you wanted.
