how would this compare to Instant Pot Duo Nova?

    • +2

A lot of people prefer the instant pot just because it comes with a stainless steel pot. I’m eyeing the instant pot duo crisp to come to a great price.

  • Does anyone have some tested recipes using this to share?

Haven't tried any full recipes yet. However, it is a great rice cooker. Pour in rice and water at a ratio of 4:5 (e.g., 2 cup rice with 2.5 cup water). Then set to steam (not the rice setting which doesn't let you adjust the cooking time) for 5 minutes on seal. Then vent slowly and done. Works with long and short grain rice.

  • Expired already? I was just about to buy it… how come the price changed so quickly?

    • Same must have only had few at that price

      • Snooze & lose I guess. Will have to wait until this happens again.

  • Any slow cooker gurus here? How do these Phillips units rank against similar products on the market ?

  • Just realised I have a similar Philips one I never use. Put mine in the classifieds (Sydney).
