PLUSFY22SAFY20

After benefiting from OzBargain for a while as a silent consumer, I hope my first post helps somebody (please go easy on me keyboard warriors).

Potential new low compared to the previous deal if you buy with eBay Plus + discounted eBay gift cards. Comes down to $718.01 with 3% off eBay gift cards from ShopBack. At least 8 available at the time of writing. Currently out of stock on 14/6/22.

Never bought from them before, but reviews seem very good. I guess only buy if you really need one now.

Also from the same store, potentially new low for:

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 GAMING OC 8GB GDDR6 RGB LED LHR Graphics Video Card
at $779.22 (or $755.84 with 3% off discounted eBay gift card) if you prefer a beefier cooler.

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 VISION OC 8GB GDDR6 RGB LED LHR Graphics Video Card
for the same price if you prefer a beefier cooler + white aesthetics.

  • Can someone explain how to get the extra 3% off

    • +4

On the Shopback Mobile app there is an option to purchase Ebay giftcards for 3% off.
You can simply search "Ebay" on the App and there should be a "Gift cards & Vouchers" section

AMD are kidding themselves with their 6700xt prices. Even 3060ti is better

rofl AMD fanboys. Go support a sports team not an unethical corporation

      • Did it ever occur that you’re just anti-AMD… while most (everyone?) here is looking for bargains?

Good spotting! Yeah the price was reduced after I posted which makes it better (and made me jealous)! The price in the post is now updated.

Friends don't let friends buy Gigabyte GPUs.

    • Aren’t they one of the world’s biggest brands? What’s wrong with them?

      • Cards run much hotter than competitors (especially their memory), dodgy thermal pads that leak oil, very bad fans (sleeve bearing) that don't last long, generally low reliability of components and power delivery. Also very fond of plastic backplates, but less so than the last generation. Exposed PCB or metal with thermal pads are the two ways to make a GPU backplate, everything else just makes the card run hotter.
I've bought two Gigashyte cards, and both had problems in the first month. One, the fan broke, the other the card died likely due to the memory controller dying or the memory overheating.

Blimey Jack the [price] jumper has been busy on this deal - I bought at $949 - 22% - an extra $10 I got from buying a $100 ebay card from shopback (wasnt brave enough to buy more gift cards to get the 3% in case the deal expired while faffing around)…so about $730 total.

looks like the various Shopping Express entities then slowly raised the price to $989…

I noticed that yesterday too, the price kept creeping up during the day

  • thats becuase they have no stock left and want to push people to the OC version

    • Couldn't hold out any longer….my gtx1050 is finally getting replaced! Went the OC version.

    • But the one I got for $949 (minus the various discounts) was the Eagle OC version…

      • Ah meant the Gaming OC version.

        • Ah yeah I see. Gaming OC is definitely better and probably worth the extra $20 or so but i specifically wanted Eagle because its a true dual slot card!
