Inspire by camago posting. I reckon the HP EliteDesk 800 G3 SFF is better value, IMO. Unlike ProDesk conterpart, EliteDesk can run low-profile dual-slot PCIe in x16 mode.

Unlike earlier generation, G2 or earlier SSF, G3 can take M.2 NMVe SSD.

The specifications says it doesn't come with optical drive, I doubt if it's a typo?

    Does the EliteDesk 800 G3 have active Intel vPRO/AMT? The Optiplex 7050 I got from you recently has this permanently disabled (my fault for not checking).

    How many internal bays does this have? Can i remove the optical drive and add a 3.5" HDD? Would like to fit 2 3.5" HDDs into the G4 (its ok if that means moving to an NVME SSD) and use it as a NAS.

    Also does anyone have experience with how loud and hot these run?
