Has anyone bought Miniso gift cards from Shopback recently?
I bought one around 3 weeks back, but it turns out it is not accepted in store. I've already tried asking a few stores (in NSW) whether I can use it for my purchase, and they all said they don't have the option to apply this gift card in their system.
I contacted Shopback 2 weeks back to tell them about it, and asked for a refund. After 2 follow ups, they still haven't given me a resolution yet even until now. Quite disappointed on how this is handled by their customer service, I was just told that it has been escalated and I need to wait while they're contacting Miniso about it. I don't feel any sense of urgency for them to resolve the case, probably because it's not their money that's been taken.
I'll be thinking twice before buying any other gift cards from Shopback now, don't know for sure whether it will happen again. Luckily it's not a big amount this time around, I wouldn't want to risk spending a lot of money on a gift card that I can't use, and very hard to get a refund on.
