I went to Sunnybank to pick up something from Facebook Marketplace and found these cheap bananas. Great for those near southern Brisbane. I'm planning to make banana bread and freeze them for months.

What makes them special bananas?
I was there an hour or so ago to buy some Asian Nashi pears. The bananas were indeed cheap and probably ok if you plan on freezing them pretty soon or like you say, make banana bread. To eat fresh, I'd say you'd need to do that in less than 24 hours as they're pretty close to turning point
There was also a sign for banana’s at 9c per kg
At Calamvale discount fruit barn, not sure if it’s still available though
