I didn't know about the relationship of bricksmegastore with Lego until now (now I do, they are like a franchise licensed in Australia https://www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/nlbwom/to_any_austral…), but initially alarm bells rang when I clicked through and the website looks exactly like Lego.com (with VIP points and all). But then I thought it has to be legit if it has so many physical locations.

I'd treat this like most other discounted deals (from Amazon, etc.) but of course, 50% off is quite good. But I guess VIP points are only usable within bricksmegastore and there is no GWP

Waited for weeks for the ready to pick up confirmation email. Received it yesterday that I had only 24 hours to respond to the email otherwise my order would be cancelled. This morning I only managed to check my email and found a cancellation order from them. LOL the way it operates is a joke. Rubbish online store should really be banned from OZB.
