didn’t think they a supply chain that could handle fresh seafood ….usually it says fresh and then thawed for your convenience …. usually cook mussels live …open cooked ones keep as they were live , the ones that stay closed after cooking were dead before cooking and get ditched incase rot has set in …..

Be very careful with 'cheap' seafood near use by date, shellfish food poisoning can be debilitating and potentially life threatening .. 😒 ,, !!
