Recently graduated and landed in a job, I have a big way to go, but just wanted to check how much does a OzB make per annum.

Thanks in advance for votes.

        Whirlpool commenter

      • Deuce Bigalow, male gigolo.
Or he and his mates have two whirlpool accounts ..Easy 500k

      • Keyboard warrior on 500k rupee salary…

    • What do you do?
      Business owner or employee?

title should be how much you wish you can make

  • My first job was $9000/year (in China). First job here was $40000.

  • Well no answer from OP, just another ATO midget troll I guess.

Nice to see that large wage fat government taxpayer funded bureaucrat position being put to good use.

I'm sure you're supremely useful to society and the vital functioning of our great government.

  • Including undeclared, untaxed cash in hand jobs plus Centrelink? O.o

  • +1

The majority group is in the 170k-190k category?! Is this a joke or legit? What am I doing with my life??

What am I doing with my life??

Believing in things you read on the internet for one

Terrible the slots start at 50k

  • No 300k option? I think that was the consensus the last time the poll was done

The more you earn the more you want in the bank account….

    Money ain't everything though.

  • Wife and I have a combined income of $510K p/a

    • Doctors?

      • small business owner and senior public servant

    • If I made that much I can retire in 5 years. Mind you I'm extremely money savy. $20,000k a year is what I'll spend. $25,000 if I go for a holiday.
      $8k/yr bills and strata
      $3k/yr transport cars etc
      $5k/yr groceries plus eat out
      $4k random purchases.

You think that, but let me introduce you to lifestyle creep

      • I think you forgot about tax, health insurance (due to tax bracket).
        Also where’s the mortgage/rent in this budget. It’s a minimum $25k short.

    Wow, ozbargainers are rich (profanity)!
    Where's the below 50k option?

  • +2

You need to have bands up to $400k. $190k on OzB don't cut it.

  • Where is the $190k+ bracket?

  • I don't know , my wife doesn't tell me.

  • +2

I need to get a job as a Sydney Harbour Bridge Flag Pole Builder

  • Let me guess, the OP isn’t on the minimum wages is he?

  • +2

I charge my clients $500 for that. Oh wait you said ANUALLY, never mind.

    Where's under 50k?

When I was at uni, I was barely making 20k - 25k per year

Are you including benefits and super in this poll or just the base salary you get?

    • +1

People usually include everything to get the figure higher. Super, rental income etc

      • No they don't. Job adverts, with very few exceptions, use base pay and that's what people generally mean. Commission based jobs may include that, but they're a small proportion. Super is generally stated as "plus super".

  • $15k. Still manage to live in Adelaide CBD and budget for trips though lol

    • How many hours do you do? What do you do with the rest of your time?

  • +1

A third of OzBargainers earn in the 96th percentile

    OK

  • Open only fans

  • Should add one option for 190k+

  • Missing the large options. Not uncommon in Australia in certain industries/businesses to make 1m+.

  • Under minimum wage sir.
