  • Some nice deals in there. I bought the Waxit Spray Coating Kit as a gift and use some of these products myself (Nova Boost QD) as a quick touch up between washes when I want to use something other than Meguiars and find they have good delivery times.

Interestingly, they do not stock Gyeon range of products like the Detailing Shed.

Yeah it's a shame they don't stock Gyeon, otherwise it would be my one stop shop. Funnily enough I had a dozen items in my cart yesterday ready to order, but was waiting on a coupon popping up. Perfect timing.

  • Time to stock up on lake country pads. Cheers for the heads-up op.

LHR15 for $770 delivered is pretty sweet also

    • I have a DA polisher from SCA. I want to compound and polish my golf. Paint is in good nick, so not too much work. I have megs compound.

      What pads would you recommend?

      • I recommend you clay bar first.

The lake country stack will cover all bases. You may need to wash them out after 2-3 panels as they will clog up.

Use the cutting pad first with the ultimate compound, then the less abrasive pads with ultimate polish then finish off with a wax by hand.

        • Yep, will foam, hand wash, rough dry, tar and iron remover, foam wash, dry.
Claybar full car, should be an hour.
Then get started on the compound. Then use nupolish to finish. Unless there is another nicer polish that you can recommend from this sale.

Thanks for that, I'm following bowden's own 2022 flow chart for the Golf. It has hard paint, so I should be right.

@lordra: You can't stuff it up with a dual action polisher. Good pads and product make all the difference. It's sounds like you have it all sorted and well researched. Great effort. I would skip the nupolish and use Meguiar's polish. It cleans up real easy and smells great too. I prefer a liquid wax (infact I use SCA home brand) for ease of application and removal.

            • @Muzeeb: It's just that I have a full bottle of NuPolish that I don't know what to do with, if it get another polish. 🙄
The ozbargainer in me can't let it go to waste.

There are so many stacks though. SDO, HDO, CCS. Which one will work well with the ToolPRO Dual Action Polisher 150mm?

I regularly buy from this store. It looks like they jacked up a lot of the prices of smaller items. Even with the 20% off it still makes it more expensive than normal….
