Sennheiser HD418 from Officeworks $33.36

210

Before you flame me for posting something that's "Out of stock" online…

These are still available in-store (I just didn't take a picture), so the website was the only "proof" of the price.

I was at the Alexandria store and they just sold the last one…the girl said that Glebe had 29 units and Bondi had 4 units (this was at 1pm).

Good luck!

  • Another impulse buy, went to officeworths at wynyard about 15 minutes ago and got the last pair. Without knowing much about these, is it a good price? What are they retailing at?
Questions I probably should have researched before purchasing hahaha.

    • You can easily get refund with OW.

    • Same here, just picked up the last pair from Braddon ACT. No idea if they're any good, but will give them a try

      • I was at Braddon at 3:15 and they said they didn't have any. :( and then I went to Fyshwick, and they had none as well. I really wanted one as well. Was considering getting them from headphones.com.au.

      • damn it

        • I know, have the worst luck. Always so close to getting a bargain but I always just miss out….:(
Monger, if you dont want them willing to buy them off you for $40.

        • believe me, I missed out on the HP touchpad firesale by literally 30 minutes. I left the store 30min before the sale started not knowing about it. When I did, it was too late. I was like 5 minutes away from Fyshwick

        • 30 minutes was huge for that sale though, probably 1000 people would have missed out before you

also, mine sits on the cupboard as a paper weight. even with android, tablets are boring.

  • but website said online only.. LOL.

    • Yeah but then it doesn't let you add to the cart for online purchase.

      • It does. I think this is just an online only clearance sale.

  • +1

    385 clicks and only 5 votes…
man, Ozbargainers are even tight with their votes, haha :P

    • +3

Not every click is an acknowledgement that the deal is good.

      • i was kinda being facetious, but point taken.

  • Officeworks QV Melbourne doesn't stock it. I'm checking the Elizabeth branch before I vote.

    • Officeworks Elizabeth branch doesn't have it either. These two branches are ones in Melbourne CBD. Maybe it's just a few branches specific only.. I won't vote yet. Just letting people in Melbourne CBD know first.

      • Did ya try Collins St. OW? Corner of Collins and King

        • It's too far for me to walk by foot so I didn't get to check that branch out :S I got tired of walking by the time I got to Elizabeth's..

  • I saw around 8 units on the shelf of officeworks @ Glebe/Forest Lodge. That was 5 mins ago.

  • OW Joondalup WA had 2 left (0 Now) at full price that scanned at the reduced price so that worked well. The perfect match to my dual G27 Wheel Setup from the DSE deal a couple of months back.

  • Used to retail at $99. They were replaced by the HD419 which is why these are on clearance. This is a good price but am not going to positive as I have been looking out for these and have not seen a store in a while that has had them.

  • Today spot someone selling this for $95:
    http://www.beatsbydreheadphonesaustralia.com/cheap-headphone…
will this Beat much better than the Sennheiser HD418? and $95 good price or not? almost paid today, but then thinking ozbargainer may post better deal

    • Are you sure thats a safe site?

I didn't click into it as I can see by the URL that it may be unsafe.

It says Australia yet its .com?

      • Bah, I didn't say it clearly, sorry for that.
I saw it in Campsie shopping centre today, the link just for the pictures.

        • leetec you know these are fake right?

        • even if they are legit, chances are the Sennheiser will still be better.

Plenty left at Coburg, VIC. Lots of other things on clearance too. Acer Iconia A500 for $387, but not sure how many left.

  • Got a pair so gave you a + .. there are 2 left in giles plains in Adelaide (Marion and Noarlunga are no more) — it'd be worthwhile ringing ahead though due to theft, loss etc

In terms of the headphones themselves .. hearing things in music I've rarely heard before which is great, however, I'm a bass junkie and just not much in these. Currently burning them in so hopefully they'll improve over time but for $35 this is a great experiment until I jump into AH-D2000's :)
