I've had this for less than 6 months and one of the nodes is faulty, and the other two are playing up.

    Would not recommend.

Does anyone with these have their nodes currently showing as offline?

    • Tenda offers 3-year warranty, you can get a replacement unit from Tenda AU.

      • Do all the nodes have an Ethernet port or just the main one?

        Yeah but it's a pain.
I need to post off the whole set and be without a network for weeks waiting for the warranty claim to be processed.

If the remaining two 'good' nodes don't start working properly, I'll return the whole set for a warranty claim

    • I've had mine since 2019 and have on the odd occasion (not regular though).
A quick restart usually fixes the issue.

Also, I set them to reboot daily at 3am via the maintenance schedule settings on the app so not sure if this can help your issue.

Apart from that no other issues and it's been great. Would recommend.

how are they playing up? ine are constantly turning red being disconnected by main node. A lot of my decices such as google nests / home always reuqire rebooting too

      • One of the three nodes is clearly faulty.. Whenever I connect that one it causes all the nodes to have connectivity issues, and the faulty node itself continuously disconnects.

As of today, the two remaining nodes show up as red (disconnected) in the app but they still appear to be working (my device is connected to it and can access the internet).

After clearing the cache of the app it can not longer detect the nodes.

Each of the two nodes are scheduled to reboot daily say 3am.

Even after manually rebooting each node (power off and on), the app still cannot detect the nodes.

My bet is that there's a tenda server issue rather than a hardware issue right now.

Will wait and try again tomorrow.

    • Has this issue exactly.

If you don't need 4 nodes the Amazon price is reasonable if you have prime. $139.95 with free one day shipping:

  • Only ac1200 and not wifi 6 ??

    • It's less than $40 per node, what do you expect?

these are crap. constantly disconnecting even when within 10meters of each other. having to turn off my main router and mesh system every few days (bridge mode). wish i got one of the pricier brands now.

    • Possibly you have the same issue as me. One faulty node wrecks the whole network.

If you can isolate the issue to the node that disconnects the most, remove that one from the mesh and see if the rest work ok

  • I've had the 3+1 pack of MW6 for over a year now. They've been rock solid, and because they are set to reboot every morning on the maintenance schedule, they never have any issues.

you sure have a strange bar to meet to be "rock solid"

      • Why is that?
I can't fault them as they haven't let me down.

        • if any of my networking equipment required daily, or even monthly reboots, I would consider them faulty.
