Where Can I Safely Trim an Indoor Plant in My Bedroom?

Hey Guys,

I need some help. I have a nice indoor plant in my room, I'm not sure what type it is but I like it alot, I water it everyday and like having it in its place.

The problem I'm having is that it's grown too large and I would like to trim I down a bit so I can manage more of the space I have.

Are you able to share some suggestions on where I should cut it from please. :)

Cheers!

Looks to me those 'high sticks' are just stalks. The bottom ones are trypes of echeveria right? You cut the stalks all the way to the base and re pot them or throw away. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    • Was going to say the same thing.

See this vid https://youtu.be/hihHydm7g98 if you just want to see him doing it isee minute 10:56.

Another note succulent need to dry between watering thus the less watering the better.

I would take it out to the balcony to trim it so you can just leave the cuttings there or easily sweep it up.

    • Or the bathroom and can flush the trimmings in the loo. (Don't do this, unless you like a blocked loo)

      • Right click on the image and open it again in a new tab. You will be able to zoom in much closer.

        • Or desktop mode on mobile allows you to zoom.

I think you may need a gardener to do it for you, lol 😂

    Definitely trim it outside.

  • I know those flowers, they are dropping sex pollen, so the best place to trim it is … on your bed.
