  According to the review, the sustained write speed after the SLC cache (~12GB) runs out is really bad, worse than a lot of SATA SSDs. Also, Series X only supports USB 3.2 gen 1 (5Gbps).

  It's still okay as a gaming SSD I guess (since most time is spent on reads).

    I'm running an old USB 3.0 Toshiba canvio for game storage, works fine but obviously you can't play XBX games from it.

        Large HDD for archiving games not being played currently.

          @PainToad: I would simply rather re-download on my 100/40 than shuffle that much around on storage. might even be faster, depending on the driver you're using.

  Be wary too, I bought a similar WD 5TB hard drive with the same "1 month Game Pass Ultimate" included. The keys were inside (actually included 2 months) but both codes were expired.
  Microsoft can't help, Officeworks have referred me onto WD and I am still waiting 3 weeks later for a resolution.
