  Have a pair of ES7 and it has awesome sound effects. Too tight and not comfortable if wearing it for a long while though.

    Second that - wearing them for an extended period of time (think >1h) they get uncomfortable. That being said though I bought mine at $150.

      There is a simple mod you can do to make these less tight on your head, it involves bending the wires slightly outwards. I have done this to mine and it makes a huge difference to the feel.

    For any prospective buyers: They sit ON the ears and NOT OVER the ears.

    Dont know about the above 'mod', but I found them highly uncomfortable and sold mine shortly after purchase.

    i sold mine. Far too tight and uncomfortable. Stretching them did nothing but make it look awkward. Got some ATH-M50's now. much much better

  $99 is a steal. as for the comfort,it has a metal band that u can shape easily.

  Great price. I bought mine for 150. Tempted to pick another one up as my brother scratched the shi out of mine.

  I feel that its incomfortable at first but as u use them the cushiony gets softer and its not bad

  People often exaggerate a bit on their bargain search, but I wouldn't stretch an adjective for this model. 'Excellent', with out doubt, would be if that model "ATH-M50" were $100.00, or were the "ATH-ESW9" $130.00 — these would proper deserve closer to "9/ 10" per the standards I go off.

  i.e. simply scroll toward the bottom and the table http://www.head-fi.org/t/433318/shootout-102-portable-headph… locate where these sit — alongside $60.00-$80.00 headgear. Sennheiser HD238 plus Grado SR60i are equal examples, those all provide "good" sound, though very good (excellent) is doubtful.

  Being accurate, you'd rate them maybe 7/10, but more than that is being generous.

  Not sure why the deal is expired but this has actually been running since at least mid last year as far as I know.
  Emailed them a few days ago just to make sure the deal is still on and they said it is.

  Will be getting a pair once I patch up the hole that Ozbargain has put in my wallet…
