I have purchased before from them… Best to eat the day they deliver and cook when they are raw … They have a strong smell to them indication to starting to go off..m
I’m not sure if trust this to be very fresh… I’ll give it a hard pass.
Don't buy the oyster from them, I regret it.
Stay away from this company, especially the special ones, dont you expect "fresh seafood". The full priced one might be alright, but they cost more than your local seafood.
So their statement on their website is misleading then? "Unlike other fish shops, our specials are based on stock that has just arrived or promotions run with suppliers. Therefore, you will never see us discounting just because they are too old or not fresh which are to be put in a clearance sale. Items that are placed on sale will sell out fast or can change at any time."
Its opposite of their describing, the seafood I received feels like in the freezer for a long time, the meat of cooked prawn is dry and need to boil again to serve, the fish chunk meant to be 1kg and only received 500g. Two orders failed in different ways, I dont feel like complaining anymore, would never buy again.
Two orders with Fishme were so so, and not going back.
Stick to Manetta. Abit pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Started using them since beginning of covid, happy thus far.
Delivery fee and minimum order amount really kill this deal
