@ozzyoi: Because TRS is meant for tourists not Aussies. You're not supposed to claim GST refund, and bring it back with you otherwise it would be blatant tax avoidance.
@RichieVn: The old $900 threshold is no longer. Any TRS claim can't be brought back into Australia without potential ramifications. Not sure how serious Customs is taking it though.

Mini 2 got longer video transmission range and better remote controller.
You can't really fly past line of site anyway - so depending how good your eyes are, I get about ~750m on a bigger m2p before it dissapears on me.
Mini 2 camera specs seem better & it flys faster - but I haven't used either.

If you're starting out get the SE to see if drone flying is for you. If you really like the hobby and you're looking for better video/picture quality then maybe an air 2s
Occusync on the Mini 2 is a big deal.
I flew mine in a wooded area and it struggled beyond 1KM. There was a lot of tree between me and the drone however. The Mini SE would have been useless in that circumstance.

The $59 option for accidental damage covers two replacements if you write it off and return it to them. Another $50ish excess applies too from memory if you claim.
It's well worth it though. If you bump an object like a tree, even at head height, and it lands on a hard surface it can kill it. (I've claimed twice for my Mavic mini).

Just read this after purchase - says to be used within 7 days of credit dispatch date. So assume that will end up as 7 days after collection of order - which according to T&Cs must be collected by July 4 to receive credit.
That's a very very small bloody window! Wonder if the credit could have been used to buy gift cards, or if it came in the form of gift cards

No, you can't. I used to buy something and return it and they would refund me the gift card. But last time they said I can only exchange other things but not getting refund or I will lost the store credit.

You can use all the TCN gift cards to buy something in store and return it straightway.

Two months ago I went to the store to swap 5x $100 Home gift cards and I told them I just did in JB. They said that they don't allow it but I can buy something and return it to swap them to one gift card. That's how I did it. Hope this helps.

Guys need some help understanding this PayPal pay in 4 store credit. I can’t find any info on this online. I bought GoPro with Good Guys on 30th June used the $50 coupon which I got in an email. Selected click and collect but did after pay as I had $5 discount. I didn’t know about PayPal $60 store credit and it’s not available officially anywhere.
