Are Vuly Trampolines Worth The Premium?

Hi, our toddler is turning 3 soon, and want to get him a tramp for his birthday. Been looking at a Vuly Ultra, on sale around $699.

Curious to know if anyone has any thoughts on whether the Vuly is worth the premium cba other brands out there?!

They market well to mums etc. The Springfree Trampoline is probably the actual premium company.

If you can get it on heavy discount go for it.

They aren't as bouncy as the tradition trampoline. But most kids don't diff these days.

We got one when Bunnings stopped selling them and just brutally cleared the stock at bargain prices (lower than cost).

  • Oh!? I thought by the title we were advertising a brothel. damn

    • Ha, the other extreme…

I was tossing up between Vuly and Jumpflex. Ended up going with Jumpflex as they are more bouncier, offer more warranty and can hold more weight than Vuly so more kids can play together. Their reviews online were also mostly positive.

We are pretty happy with the purchase (been nearly an year and have no complaints).

      +1 on jumpflex

Got one for the kids a few years back, still solid and decent customer support when I contacted them for broken shade cover (replaced for free)

We bought a Springfree, can handle 1 adult and 2 kids on it.

They don’t do much sales, I wanted until Christmas and they did free install and basketball kit.

    • They don’t do much many sales

Need to be able to handle an adult and a kid so you can double bounce them to the moon.

    • Which model of Springfree?

      • Compact Oval, and kids still use it. Well worth the money.

We had a Vuly Thunder Pro and it was great because of the sheer amount of room on it. Resell on that one was very good too.

Downside is it weighed like 400kg so once its in its spot, you ain't moving it easily.

Not sure on other brands but have a Vuly Thunder. Good quality. Kids love it. Defiantly recommend paying for the installation. Would have taken me forever to work out how to put it together. Vuly tend to do a lot of deals where they give freebies away plus the discount. If you aren't in a rush wait and see what comes up then go for the best one.

All above named brands are good. Get as large as you can afford….

    The real question should be….

Can you use dishwashing detergent and a hose with a vuly?

    • Why do you need detergent? For bubbles?

Hopefully this summer is less wet so we can try it out!

      • Make it super slippery. A lot more fun.

Can't comment on Vuly, but definitely worth buying a branded trampoline over a KMart/Bunnings unbranded one.
Our Action Sports trampoline was bought on sale from Rebel sport at the same time as a friend's Kmart brand.
    We paid maybe $50 more.
Theirs was looking very sorry after 12 months, ours looked As New.

After 6 years (72 months), ours still doesn't look as bad as the Kmart one looked after just 12.

As an added point, they have 1 kid, we have 2, but I think it was actually sun damage that destroyed theirs.

Thanks for clarifying the number of months in 6 years.

        Fair
I tallied up the months first, then realised it sounded ridiculous but didn't want to waste the brain power that had been expended
        :P

Also fair. Why let your time be wasted?…..unlike me making time commenting on it, or you re-commenting on it, then me…..aaararrrghhhh

Can't comment on any other brands but we've had a Vuly Ultra XL for 2 years and it has been great. Very surprised that the safety net and the sun shade are still in good condition after 2 years in the sun. The safety net actually has a tag on it that says should be replaced every 12 months but that seems ridiculous to me.

We went jumpflex over Vuly, better warranty, higher weight, better customer feedback. Also really didn't like Vuly's marketing practice of running 24/7 sales. I recall 1 reviewers said they tried to make a warranty claim on the shade cover and Vuly wouldn't honor it because the shade sale was free so not covered by warranty (shade sales are always a free inclusion on Vuly tramps). For interest Jumpflex held a decent sale on black friday last year, as did spring free, I think Vuly actually ran their best 'sale' about a week before black friday

We did the same thing, ended up with the vuly thunder with the free shade cover. Warning: Assembly took hours and instructions were limited.. But they have a warehouse where you can try out all the trampolines if you're in Brisbane. I was looking at seccond hand as well, and they seem to have good resale value.

    • The Vuly Ultra combines solid build quality, great safety features, and good bounce. It's our favourite of all Vuly's models.
    • The Vuly Flare offers a balance of cost, safety, and enjoyment for younger children, though it lacks the durability and features of higher-priced models.
    • The Vuly Thunder trampoline offers exceptional safety and innovative design but users often face challenges with assembly and sometimes durability. We recommend getting a professional to help with assembly.
    • Springfree trampolines stand out for their exceptional safety and durability, justifying their higher price with superior build quality and a comprehensive ten-year warranty, despite some assembly challenges. We recommend getting a professional to help with assembly.
    • JumpFlex trampolines offer great value with good build quality, comprehensive safety features, and decent bounce, despite some minor drawbacks like Velcro deterioration.
