Just a general question.
I have purchased a CPU for over $500. The store send it with Authority To Leave which I wasn't aware of. I have not received it or signed for it, Aramex claims it was delivered.
Is there anything I can do or just accept the loss?
Contact the retailer and let them know to investigate.
What did the place you bought it from say when you asked them that it was not delivered to you.

No, step 1 is ordering the CPU from a place that sends the CPU with ATL!!!
As someone that lives in an apartment block, Amarex are god awful at dropping it anywhere close to your door. Check your properly thoroughly before you do anything else

Anyhow, don't deal with Aramex, deal with the shop directly. It's their job you get it to you. You didn't arrange the courier so aren't responsible.

I got a PS5 from Big W, specifically requested to take to the post office through Auspost and they just left it on my door step anyway
It's frustrating how few online stores let you choose your option, let alone which stores tell you which courier they are using!
Thanks for the comments. I have not contacted the shop yet because i was trying to get some information first on what situation i am in. I will contact them on Monday and report the outcome here.
Be firm with them that you are not dealing with Aramex. You have better things to do with your time.
It's not your problem if its missing/lost/stolen/delayed - THEY can sort it out in a reasonable time or else issue a refund. Be clear you are not waiting weeks for Aramex to (profanity) around.
Sometimes a pic of the atl, is linked to the tracking number. I the retailer has s shippit, I think they have automatic insurance, however the process in claiming is painful, and takes months for them to get their money back. Hopefully, then provide a replacement for you or refund asap
Aramax was known as fastway which is the worst delivery company in australia, good luck.
At least the are consistent and reliable. Have been $hit as fastway and are the same as aramex.

aeamex ruined my deliveries thru returning to china, and wrong address. I got none out of 6 parcels.I closed my ebay store and have never bought anything else from aliexpress. I ended up giving up chasing compensation. They marked everything as delivered. You will have to chase them up

Aramex has responded with the text below. By the looks of it the item really was dropped off at my house as they have sent me a photo of it at my front door. Still doesn't change anything about the fact that i have not received it and that it is nowhere to be found around the house.

The seller is quite difficult about it.
On 03.07.2022 I sent them an email explaining that i have issues with the purchase and that the item was not delivered to me. No response.
07.07.2022 i called them and they wondered why the courier would leave the parcel there, they didn't have the authority to leave. Promised to look into it.
14.07.2022 still no response, call again and get promised someone will contact me the same day. Never happened.
15.07.2022 I call them again, and they promise again to contact me the same day and i receive an email stating that the item was left at my front door. Thanks, i know that much.
"We have not received any update from the courier company, we have continuously follow up on this issue, and will get back to you once we have the update."
Then againg "Please kindly wait our support to update you with the lost item case result. Once we got approved insurance claim we will be able to ship out a
replacement one for you."
No further messasges from them, i have been waiting now for three weeks and sick of it. It's not my fault that they don't even know if the courier had authority to leave for the item or what comes out of the insurance claim.
What should i do about this?
Hopefully you used a credit card for the purchase? If so, just ring your bank and do a charge-back.
As soon as I hear/read the word Aramex a cold shiver runs down my spine.
Aramex driver probably kept it for themselves.
Did you buy through eBay Plus? = Contact eBay
Did you pay with PayPal? = Make a PayPal claim
Did you pay by Credit Card? = Initiate a Charge Back
