Best TV for Both Gaming and Streaming under $2000?

Hey guys, looking for recommendations for a great tv for the living room for streaming movies and gaming. Budget is 1700 can push 2000 or so if its worth the extra hundreds. Size wise prefer bigger the better ofc but minimum i can go is 55inch for a good experience not too picky above or around that size. Reason is living room is decent sized so dont need anything huge but wont complain about bugger screen of course.

Ofc better panels like Oled would be great to have but if there are some quality panels i dont mind. MUST have 100hz/120hz looking to connect my pc for 4k gaming or my PS5. So high refresh rate is important. Better hdmi port would be needed for these higher hz im assuming.

Heard alot about LG C1, any other competitors? or any upcoming deals for an ozbargain price.

i just got a LG C2 for pc/gaming. its amazing, coming from an ultrawide is a bit of an adjustment but the C2 also has an ultrawide mode so its kinda best of both worlds. however around the 2k mark you should wait for black friday/cyb monder or near abouts for a better deal as it seems like the C1 has jumped in price to near C2 levels (but the c1 comes on sale every few weeks if you are lucky)

EDIT: oh btw, on youtube search for a chan called "HDTVtest"

he reviews a lot of high end tvs and gives a detailed breakdown. his most recent videos are C1 vs C2 and the C2 42" vs alienware 34" oled/qdot (whatever)

    • C2 does seem expensive tho at least when comparing 55 or 65 inch to the c1. Missed this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/709161 for the LG C1 for $1790 55inch which is perfectly around my budget. C2 does seem like the better screen but don't know how much it would get discounted on sales days. gotta wait and see. thanks for the input my friend.

yeah it is, the 55" c1 is amazing at 1.7k if you can snag it at that price great, i was in the market for a 48" and everywhere started showing out of stock
even now doing a quick search for the LG c1 48" its showing 2k to 2.3k which is ballpark C2 cost

        best of luck m8!
